The garage complex
THE GARAGE COMPLEX was built in approximately 1920 and consisted of an open, concreted area for 3 vehicles with a meat room and a saddle room at the western end. The garage was restored to its current state with additional storage in the pitched roof space by D.E Frazer in the 1990s.
The 1926 Buick in the garage was purchased from the Fardell’s as a sedan. It was re-modeled into a utility vehicle in the 1950s. Many family and friends learnt to drive in the Buick. It was last used in the early 1960s.
